Meet the team committed to serving Nebraskans through financial education.
We're working toward a stronger Nebraska tomorrow through financial education today. Here's how we do so, and the passion behind our roles.

Karrissa Jyles - Program Manager
"I grew up in the community in which we serve, both figuratively and literally. Obtaining a financial education changed the economic outlook of my life, and this knowledge will be passed on for generations to come."

Karrissa manages the strategy, volunteers, partners, funding, and day-to-day operations in Nebraska. She also serves as the Chair of Financial Beginnings' Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
"Together, we can achieve so much more than I could have ever imagined going it alone."

"Financial Beginnings lets me see our community and youth get excited about financial literacy! It can reach those who need it the most through our school programming and great community partners."
Jessica Esch, CPA - HDR, Inc.

"Financial literacy is often learned late in life and at too high an expense. I am thrilled to be a part of a program that seeks to ingrain Nebraska's future leaders with these foundational topics at a developmental age, equipping them with the key to financial comfort through adulthood."
Steve Esch - Nelson, Van Denburg & Campbell Wealth Management Group, LLC
FBNE Board member

"Financial Beginnings provides an essential learning resource to a subject that is typically self-taught through personal experience. Through its programs, Financial Beginnings provides individuals with the opportunity to develop a strong financial foundation that can help make informed choices around personal finances."
Candi Jones - Mutual of Omaha
FBNE Board member

"I am honored to be on this board because I recognize the impact of financial literacy and the gap that exists among racial groups and ethnicities. I want to do my part to ensure that people know how to manage their finances and make sound decisions that will impact generations to come."
Jen Nash - Priceless Financial Coaching

"Everyone deserves access to financial literacy."
